Healthy Studio Guidelines

Densmore Piano Studio is committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and stable learning environment. The following policies and procedures are in place to minimize the risk of transmission of respiratory viruses such as colds, flu, RSV, and COVID-19.

• Students, accompanying parents, and siblings should not come to the studio if they are experiencing symptoms of illness, or if any family members at home are sick. An online lesson can take place during the scheduled lesson time instead.

• The teacher reserves the right to send home anyone who arrives exhibiting signs of illness.

• Once inside the front door, everyone is required to remove shoes and wash hands with soap & water, even if they will not be going to the piano.

• Except for lesson observations that have been pre-arranged with the teacher, only one family should be in the studio at a time.

• Face masks and/or social distancing may be required periodically at the teacher’s discretion.

• The washroom is equipped with touch-free fixtures, including paper towel dispenser, pedal trash can with lid, and motion-sensor soap dispenser.

• Surfaces will be disinfected during breaks between lessons, including piano keys, piano bench, tabletops, and door handles.
